This annual exhibition celebrates the variety and importance of agriculture in California. Imagery may include everything from the crops and livestock to the people, machines and water that make it all possible.

All Media Accepted

Including, but not limited to: Paintings, Photography & Digital Media, Prints, Drawings, Watercolors, Collage & Mixed Media, Textiles & Fiber Arts, Ceramics, Sculpture, Glass


Best of Show $500; Two Awards of Merit $200; Four Honorable Mentions $50

There is a non-refundable entry fee of $20 for the first piece, $15 for each additional entry for non-member artists; $15 for the first entry, $10 for each additional entry for members of the Carnegie Arts Center.

Shepard Garden of Sacramento & Arts Center Spring Sale March 16 and 17, 2024

This annual sale features more than 30 garden and art clubs and many of the club members. Apply here for a table or space to sell your art. Applications are due by February 15, but space fills up fast.

  • There will be a tool sharpener at this show, willing to sharpen your tools for a donation that will be used to support the center.

Blue Line Arts of Roseville, CA invites you to join
our annual show: Off Center

This competition celebrates the timeless tradition of ceramic art but also welcomes your unique artistic vision. Whether you prefer classic pottery or bold abstract creations, we are eager to check the pulse of the Ceramics community and see your applications!

This year's competition is seeking a special focus on installation artworks and large-scale ceramics. The competition accommodates monumental and multi-part creations, so feel free to dream big!

Of course, all forms of ceramic artwork are welcome, including functional and non-functional pottery, abstract sculptures, hanging/ wall-mounted pieces, jewelry, and mixed media.

We call this show Off Center for a reason. We want to see you break the mold and try something new on a international platform. We are looking for highly unique artworks that redefine our expectations of what ceramic art can be.

Join us for fine art booths, live music and performances, food and wine, a Kids Zone, plus a youth arts show. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Historic Folsom Spring Arts & Crafts Fair
April 28, 2024

At 55 years strong, this juried craft fair with 200+ artisan crafters, strolling musicians, donation-based face painters, food vendors, and Historic District brick-and-mortar merchants and restaurateurs is the best place to find unique, quality, handmade items! The event takes place on four blocks of Historic
Sutter Street and the public plaza by the landmark train turntable. The event will happen rain or shine from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday, April 28th, 2024.

Please Note:

- All prospective vendors will be juried/interviewed by the Event Coordinator.
- No multi-tier, wholesaler, commercial or import vendors will be accepted.
- Items for sale at this event must be 85% handcrafted by the applicant.

How vendors are notified of their application status is detailed on the application at the time of submittal. Please do not
contact FHDA to inquire as to the status of your application.

Curtis Fest, Sacramento CA

Curtis Fest is an outdoor artisan fair that takes place
every summer in Curtis Park. Last year, we hosted nearly 100 vendors, numerous food trucks and stands, and live music for a lovely day of arts & community hosted by the Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association. Applications are open now to become a vendor.

We take care to balance the variety of vendors. If you are invited to vend you will be sent a follow up email with a link to register and pay for your booth space.

Call for Emerging Artists

Application Deadline: June 29, 2024

We are looking for emerging artists! If you are between the ages of 20-35 and have ties to California’s Central Valley, we’d love to see your work!

We are seeking painters, sculptors, photographers, printmakers, ceramicists, textile artists, and others who work in any medium to feature in a group show next year. In our annual Valley Focus exhibition, we explore the work of our regional artists and their relationship to our communities. Through this open call for entries, we expect to identify 10-15 artists and include their work in a group exhibition in our beautiful Ferrari Gallery. The exhibition will be on view from February 11 – May 17, 2025.

Those selected will be in the early stages of their careers, and will be either:· from the Central Valley but now living elsewhere,

  • · from the Central Valley but now living elsewhere,
  •  educated in the Central Valley (regardless of current residence), or
  • · currently residing in the Central Valley.

Submission Details: Complete rules for entering can be found on the CAC website. Images and documentation must be submitted online via SmarterEntry.com. All entries must be received by  5 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

Artists will be required to submit the following via SmarterEntry.com

  • Bio or CV that includes your date of birth (PDF format)
  • Artist Statement (PDF format)
  • 10 images of your work

There is a non-refundable fee of $40 to submit a portfolio that includes 10 images of your work. Members should use the promo code CAC when paying for entries to receive a $5 discount on their fee. For information on becoming a member, visit our website: CarnegieArtsTurlock.org.
